Client Benefits

Melbourne Dog Clinic is proud to be part of an Australian First of its Kind Partnership with Ready Vet Go.

You may have heard the term within the Veterinary Industry “Gold Standard”. We believe we now go above and beyond this standard by being able to provide a greater depth of service, and greater peace of mind, for our clients. Think of it as Platinum Standard.

What does this mean for you?

Routine Surgeries

All our routine surgery patients now have access to after hours care through Ready Vet Go. Even a simple surgery, such as a desexing, from time-to-time,  may have something go awry once you leave our clinic.

It may be as simple as your dog accidentally jumped when she shouldn’t have or ran a little too fast when he shouldn’t have, causing noticeable stress to a surgical site. In situations like this you may wish to consult a professional to ask advice. For all our surgery patients Ready Vet Go will only be a phone consultation away at no extra cost to you. This service will be available up until midnight of the day of the surgery from the time our clinic closes that day.

We believe that knowing helpful advice is only a phone call away will bring greater peace of mind to our clients and ensure an extra level of safety for your dog.

Should you require further assistance Ready Vet Go will offer huge discounts on their fees to our clientele, including a 20% discount on at-home consultations, medications and products up to the value of $200.

Critical Case Surgeries

For critical case surgeries where after-hours care is essential, traditionally the dog owner transports their dog in their own vehicle themselves. As a patient of Melbourne Dog Clinic, Ready Vet Go will automatically transport your dog to an after-hours facility to ensure appropriate stablisation of your dog during transport so you need not have the stress and worry of doing it yourself.

In cases where your dog stays at the after-hours facility overnight and is due to return to Melbourne Dog Clinic in the morning, Ready Vet Go will transport them back to us for you.

Post-Op Care

Melbourne Dog Clinic’s partnership with Ready Vet Go ensures after-hours care is always available for all our surgery patients.

Who Are Ready Vet Go?

Ready Vet Go is a human-grade pet ambulance service providing life-saving emergency transport and superb at-home veterinary care.

For a long time there has been gaps in the Veterinary Industry in relation to at-home after hours care and at-home emergency pet care. Ready Vet Go has filled in that void by being able to provide Telehealth Consultations, At Home Veterinary Care and Emergency Pet Transport.

Ready Vet Go is not a pet taxi service. It is a fully operational human-grade Pet Ambulance Service with a Qualified Veterinarian on-board along with a Veterinary Nurse that is able to provide rapid pet medical stabilisation on-site and in-transit.

With the ability to safely transport pets to or between hospitals, pet owners can rest assured that their pet receives the necessary intervention for their health, including oxygen therapy, IV fluid support, medications, and critical monitoring.

All these components ensure that your pet receives timely, high-quality care, reducing the risk of deterioration and preventable death.

At times when every second matters you can now safely count on Australia’s only Pet Ambulance Service, Ready Vet Go.
