FAQs

  • When you first come to us as a client we will provide you with login details to our Fear Free Pre-Visit Questionnaire on our website. Alternatively, we can email you a copy.

This questionnaire needs to be completed and sent in to us before your first visit. It helps us better understand the needs of your dog and facilitate a smooth first visit to our clinic so that all future visits are less stressful for your dog and yourself.

  • Yes, all our Veterinarians, Vet Nurses and Dog Groomers are Fear Free Trained.

  • Fear Free Certified Practices have protocols in place to alleviate stress in your dog to ensure they have a stress-free visit as much as possible.

All our staff have Fear Free training. Using the Fear Free guidelines helps us better understand how your dog deals with and expresses anxiety, fear and stress. By understanding these indicators, we can help your dog feel more at ease before, during and after their visit.

(Please note, that there may be times that your dog exhibits stress indicators so great that rescheduling your appointment may be in the dog's best interest).

  • Our Dental Checks are complimentary ten minute appointments that allow us to examine your dog's teeth and gums and determine whether or not it is time for dental surgery.

Your dog's teeth will be given a Grade of 1 - 4 (please refer to our dental page for further explanations).

We can also help guide you in ways to promote your dog's dental health.

Please note, no other service is performed during a Dental Check.
