  • Gayle Bosel

    VETERINARY NURSE

Gayle has had a strong passion to work with animals from the age of 4. Much to her mother’s delight she brought home all the stray cats and birds and frogs and lizards in the neighbourhood . Nothing was ever too small or large to make friends with.

After school life Gayle fell into the world of cooking. Completing an apprenticeship and training young chefs. Knowing that something was missing Gayle reached out to a local animal Sanctuary where she volunteered on her days off. This eventually gave Gayle the opportunity to find a job in the veterinary industry (no more cooking) and, as they say, the rest is history.

15 years on, completing Cert 4 in Vet Nursing and Cert 4 in Practice Management, Gayle has worked in mixed animal practices, emergency centres, speciality centres and veterinary wholesalers. Gayle still says this industry is just the best, 'We get to save lives each day, no two days are ever the same and we get to go home at the end of the day after being rewarded with cuddles and licks all day long'.

It’s also a tough industry with tears and emotions. But she wouldn’t have it any other way. Gayle is looking forward to this next chapter at Melbourne dog clinic.
